Of course..I check this morning and it is there, but I am running late so I leave and come back a couple of hours later to book and it is gone. I am sooo angry.

Well, for some reason I kept inputting the dates and it came back up. I tried to book it and it wouldn't go through with my card, saying that the tickets just sold out. There was a 526 fare though instead of 498, that went through Vancouver going out and Toronto coming back. That went through, so I am happy...ier. Don't relish a 15 hr flight to Toronto though.

The fare is still there for my dates. You can change the dates around to get availability.

It was mentioned the fare is also available from EWR?
Anyone found availability out of EWR or out of other east coast cities?

Just booked two myself...one next January to start off the new year...and a same-day turn in October arriving at 6am and leaving at 6pm...looks like I'll be taking an HKG *A lounge lounge tour

I was looking for a same day turn, but couldn't find anything that worked, what did you use for dates?

I think I just found out how to get 2cpm!

BOS-YYZ-HKG-YYZ-BOS = 32,932 base miles (+ any elite bonus)
$803 a/in

I calculated the miles using mileage calculator. Anyone confirm that's roughly the RT miles?

It must be early morning! I got 16,446 miles. I doubled it on accident - one can dream though, eh?

If you're earning premier bonus (collecting on UA), 33,000 miles is the correct number to use for division. ^

It's cents per mile, and this fare brings back memories of the good ol' days! ^ ^

I understood the UA MP Premier bonus to be 25% while the Premier Executive was 100%.

Just pulled the trigger on this one:

AC794

Los Angeles, Los Angeles Int'l (LAX)
Sun 17-Oct 2010
22:00 - Terminal 2

Toronto, Pearson Int'l (YYZ)
Mon 18-Oct 2010

AC015

Toronto, Pearson Int'l (YYZ)

10:00 - Terminal 1

Hong Kong (HKG)
Tue 19-Oct 2010

AC016

Hong Kong (HKG)
Sun 24-Oct 2010

Toronto, Pearson Int'l (YYZ)

AC795

Toronto, Pearson Int'l (YYZ)

20:05 - Terminal 1

Los Angeles, Los Angeles Int'l (LAX)
Sun 24-Oct 2010
22:22 - Terminal 2

I used checkmytrip.com to get the AC confirmation number, and it shows that it books into S and L classes. I can't change anything on the AC website, show I'll have to call them to get my MP number added.

I know it's not a true MR because I'm staying for a week, but it'll be a nice vacation.

Works out to:

$641.60 AI
LAX-YYZ-HKG 9936 mi x 2 = 19,872 EQMs (3.22 cpEQM) and with my 1P bonus by then, 39744 RDMs (1.61 cpRDM)

1K, here I come!

Sorry, yes, previous poster is CO Plat and will earn 100% bonus. I was confusing various elite levels and *A parner programs.

Great fare!
