No, T - is that a non-upgradeable fare class?

Edit to add: I checked, T is valid for e-upgrades.

So, for a single traveller, would you recommend booking both tickets in my name and then trying to take advantage of having an empty seat next to me.

Or, should I just book the second ticket under the name of some relative who will not be flying?

It has to be greater than $750 for the discount - and it is applied in the shopping cart before checkout.

I found the InterContinental Yorkville for about $20 more than the Courtyard. Based on Tripadvisor reviews is looks like a solid 4-star hotel.

I'm not really worried about it since only my IAD-YUL segment is even upgradeable but I find it odd. I've never had an issue applying an upgrade to a Orbitz/Expedia/Priceline itin.
Well I got a SECOND email from United Vacations about my itin, I then logged in to .bomb and I was able to apply the upgrades. Also my "View E-Receipt" button was missing before but is there now.

I guess UV doesn't have immediate ticketing... Interesting...

I did it. Also, I have included the same FF number. Shows on bomb as 2 exact same passengers. Lets see what happens after the flight
Also, when 10k miles are going to post?

Seems to me, the issue is are you going to get 5,000 or 10,000 miles. The United website says:

• 5,000 Mileage Plus® bonus miles per adult (10,000 per reservation).

An empty seat might yield you only the 5,000.

BOS--YYZ Feb 5-7 you keep hotel!?

Hi, this is a great deal!

I have to go to YYZ for a wedding the weekend of Feb 5-7 and have been eyeing fares alone all over $350!!

So, I'm looking for a buddy to saddle up with for this! If you want to go to BOS-YYZ those dates, I'll book with you. I already have a hotel set, so you keep the hotel! Just have to be willing to fly when I need to (Fri and Sunday afternoons).

I'm seeing it around $160 per person.

I'd rather do this than risk booking it with a no show.. plus FTer could get a great deal as well!

PM me if this is of any interest to you!

Perhaps United would tell you that if you went and looked.

anybody in SJC want to go to yvr Jan 30-31? i'd like to take the 9:43am flight SJC-LAX-SEA-YVR and same route back. Price is $110/person all in picking the cheapest hotel. PM me if you're not crazy/weird/psycho/killer. I'm a 30yo asian male and prefer to travel with another male around my age.
