aa mileage run
 

I have a $1400 already-paid-for ticket in AC that I have to use in the next six months - long story, its a toickey that someone reimbursed me for a trip that was cancelled - and am contemplating using for an an nmileage run on AC. My costs would esemtuially be a $150 change fee, as the ticket cost me nothing.

No status on AC or any of its partners, so it would be back of the bus. Would be flying out of New York, so LGA or EWR would be start/end points. Preference would be a two day stay sonmewhere for a weekend and then a return, and maximize miles. The daily flight EWR/YVR seems to leave a lot of options for Asia.

sorry - that should be AC mileage run - I have had too much AA recently
