Smile Spirit -- new fares from only -$4 each way - Purchase by Midnight 09-19-07

Just got this in email this morning.

See the full list of negative fares and other great sale fares. But hurry, this sale ends Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:59 PM ET. All fares are each way, based on a roundtrip purchase and taxes, fees & restrictions apply.

Wow. The LAX-Guatemala for $94 all-in looks attractive! Leave Oct 17, return Oct 21st.

Edited to add:
It's actually $82.70 all-in if you remove travel insurance and enrollment in the $9 fare club! Thanks Fly_from_BNA for pointing that out

I booked a flight for two tickets from ATL to FLL, leave 10/13 and return 10/14 am for about $50 (airport fees / taxes and the $9 Spirit membership). The wife and I will just hang out on the Hollywood boardwalk like we used to do when I flew back and forth working down there. Cheap entertainment!

The prices they quote are one way fare only for the dates listed. They will add airport fees and taxes during the purchase process. The webpage automatically will include the $9 Spirit membership and travel insurance. Make sure you remove the checks next to the Spirit membership and travel insurance so you done get charged for them (Unless you want them).

I got in on the last IAD-FLL for $16 all in for my sister's birthday in January. Now, just booked from ACY-FLL for $16 all in for xmas vacation. ^ I'm sure gonna have a lot of useless spirit miles!

There's no way to get the $-1 fare going down from LAX. $82 is the minimum. You can get it on the way back; it ends up being $165.70 r/t, all-in.

Great fare, but I'd rather go to Costa Rica and more to the point, I'm already in on the LAX-PNH deal for that timeframe ^

The $75 was all-in r/t after I removed the insurance and fare club. Appears to be gone now.
Anyone know if Spirit ever offers decent specials during the Christmas period?
Wouldn't mind snagging a ticket to Peru from ATL for below $500.

I can't speak if Spirit offers this kind of pricing during the XMAS season, but they seem to be running these specials about every 30 days or so. I'll post the next one I get from them.

Actually, there was. Perhaps it sold out by the time you were looking at it. I got this price by simulating a fake purchase.

Wirelessly posted (probably driving while typing: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12))

nk only awards 50% rdm on these cheapie fares so you won't have that much when all is said and done.

without any offense to the original poster or any of the replies in here, spirit has regular weekly fare sales. if one reads the description of this forum or the faq, they will find it against the rules to post these 'deals' here.

happy travels to all

I kinda agree with Mrp Alert. I find Spirit air weekly sales an irritant especially when the website slows and the dates of travel are goofy and no useful miles accrued. Nonetheless, $14.30 r/t to MYR from LGA is tempting.

A good deal is a good deal. Some people dont check for spirit fares unless they hear about it here. It's not that hard to scroll down to the next thread.

Too bad LaGuardia never gets very good destinations.
