UA ORD-??? 1 day MR before 2/28
I have 2 RT's, but wasn't going to do a MR for the 3rd flight in the United Fly 3 and earn 25K promo, since I don't really need RDM's. That 3rd flight would give me 15K miles, but I didn't think it was worth it.
But a different thread about CR-1 sweeps made me realize that 1000 more miles before 2/28 (when I lose 1K status) would get me to 10,000 miles in 2007 and get me two CR-1's. Now I think it's worth it, since I like to travel to Central America.
I'm in Guatemala now. ORD-SFO-LAX-GUA-LAX-SFO-ORD, $500, 9100 EQM's, upgraded on all flights with two CR-1's.
I thought ORD-MSP for $78 might still be available, but the best I'm seeing is $159 on 2/28, which I may do.
Anybody have a better idea? I'm free almost any day between 2/20 and 2/28.

Didn't someone report an issue with getting CR-1's with miles flown AFTER the February sweep? In other words, your last set of CR-1's would have posted automatically if you had qualified prior to 2/10. However, you'll require some human intervention at this point.

I believe that if you fly the required 10,000 miles on or before 2/28, you'll get the CR-1 credit but human intervention will very probably be required.
I just found ORD-IAD round trip on ual.bomb on 2/24 for 129.90(all in) with at least one leg changing in PIT.(it's one of my favorite day roundtrips)

Jersy Joe, thx for the idea. If I needed more EQM's, I would go for it, since it yields about 600 more than a simple RT. Not sure that it would be worth the extra time and risk, though.

2/28 UA 0363 ORD-OMA 8:40-10:16 733, upgrade with 500 miler pending
2/28 UA 1248 ORD-OMA 10:57-12:29 733, upgrade with 500 miler pending
$114, must book by tonite, 2/14 for 14 day adv.
I also looked at SDF, BNA, and IND for the same price - but all on CRJ or CR7, and some with bad connections.
