While certainly not exactly the Suites class of Singapore Airlines, I would not describe the First Class section of Copa Airlines aboard their Boeing 737 aircraft as “terrible”.

The service is good, the seats are a typical domestic United States configuration in terms of comfort, the food is good and a movie is shown.

Don't forget ice cream sundaes, too.

My biggest worry would be that they would run out of booze on me since they have smaller catering stocks, but I can always just switch alcohols to keep going.

For that price, flights on Copa are a good value. 737 or not, it's comfortable seating and good service. Of course it's even better after October. ^^

JFK to CDG Business Class for $1497 AI

I was able to get this price for travel in October, though there seem to be plenty of dates still open. You need to make a few searches to find this rate. Also available flights from Newark.

Maybe not such a great deal in itself, but if one 'has to' go to Paris...

On an unrelated note: Could anyone tell me what is this AA double miles bonus I keep hearing about? Thanks.

Nice. Sept 10th to 16th from JFK is $1497. Was supposed to head over at that time for the Medoc marathon but an injury ruled that out. In any case, I would have jumped at the chance for Businesss class on this fare. Thanks for the posting!

The RT is much more intresting for 355$ You'll get 2100 miles. This kind of KL fares are pretty normal on the region. Anyway the better for runners is BKK-TPE is around 4400 miles for 400$ RT

CO Business to Europe

The prices aren't exactly earth-shattering, but they are still pretty good for a nice product. CO seems to be running a business class sale to Europe over Thanksgiving and Christmas. The cities that I've seen so far are Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Lisbon. There are probably more cities as well. Sample prices (AI):

EWR-OSL/ARN/CPH, 11/25-12/1, $1306/$1309/$1322

EWR-OSL/ARN/CPH, 12/21-29, $1524/$1527/$1530

EWR-LIS, 11/25-12/1, $1349

Don't forget that CO will probably be part of the *A by these dates.

LHR, MXP, other cities too. Pretty good!! Now if only someone can figure what TATL routes the new BF seats will fly to first!
