Post BT: HEL-TLL/BAK/GME/IEV/KGD/KIV/LED/MOW/MSQ/ODS/SIP/TBS-NRK, 394 all in

BT has some strange routing rules in their fares from Finland (also works ex some other countries) to Norrkoping, Sweden, which leads to a good deal in business class to Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia etc. Example below from Helsinki, Finland to Tbilisi, Georgia to Norrkoping, Sweden is €394, 3725 BIS-miles, double that for a return trip (or you can fly FC/AY one-way NRK-HEL for €50).

BT 306 D 15OCT 4 HELRIX HK1 1550 1655
BT 722 D 15OCT 4 RIXTBS HK1 2025 0055+1
BT 723 D 16OCT 5 TBSRIX HK1 0325 0600
BT 131 D 16OCT 5 RIXCPH HK1 0700 0730
QI 773 D 16OCT 5 CPHNRK HK1 1420 1515

Full routing rules:
HEL-RIX/VNO-TLL/BAK/GME/IEV/KGD/KIV/LED/MOW/MSQ/ODS/SIP/TBS-RIX/VNO-CPH-SK/QI-NRK

Fare basis
DFIOWTHR, €292++, fully refundable and changeable, unlimited stopovers. Economy class is €100 cheaper.

Available through any decent travel agent (or maybe online?).

I'm not sure how to link to other posts, I'm playing around with it, though I did try to keep it relevant to this thread. Thanks for your patience...my testing on this will hopefully work out the bugs for a time that I have something more important to say :-)

LA: SYD-AKL-SYD Business AUD700 ai until further notice (I class)

From AFF: LAN SYD-AKL J Special - Good SC earner

I'm no status run expert, but i'd have thought 160 SC's for a $700 outlay in J is a pretty good deal. (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)

It's travel from today U.F.N. and booked in I class

C-Class appears to be very cheap on LAN between AKL and SYD.

In March, it was $189 a/i o/w.

Anyone having any luck with UA premium mileage runs like the above? They seem to all have gone away.

So you cannot stay in TBS over 24 hours, right? In this case it's not worth much, cause BT business class is really dreadful, same seats and pitch as in economy.

Sure you can! The fare allows for unlimited stopovers, so you can stay wherever you like for as long as you like.

The QUP fares are gone for now ... but they usually come back every once in a while ... keep checking.

QF/AA: MEL-(SYD-NRT)-JFK, J AUD 7500 all in. 02/09-10/09

I was searching the AA website to fly Melbourne - New York in J, and they came back with AUD 7700, but one has to fly via SYD and then Tokyo, this is nearly half the price QF were offering.

I am unable to play around with dates at the moment.
