And booking via AA.com will save the booking fee, dropping the price even further.

I thought the thread was for a NYC-PHX fare not a NYC-PDX...which anyway is kinda good!

Fare does work via SEA...... just check itn to ensure availability.

I held one PHX--SEA--NYC to use for the Sat seminar. Thank goodness for free standby and reusable WN fares. ^ ^

I have a ~7880 mile PHX-LGA fare on hold for $147... but how do I get from SoCal to PHX cheaply? Hmm....

Too bad LAX-PHX doesn't qualify for the short-hop award (even though it's less than 400 ground miles)

this puts LGA-DEN ($154.70 all in) into shame and I booked 15 of them. Would have been nice to visit PHX sometimes with this fare.

This is a great find indeed. ^ I am sticking to DEN.

LGA-ORD-SEA-PHX-SEA-ORD-LGA

Total EQM: 7120
with 100% elite bonus + 1000 booking = 15240
0.88 cent per mile

Unbelievable. if you can route via DCA......well..ya know.

Not on those dates.. you happened to pick MLK weekend. If you can go a day earlier or come back a day later, then you have a chance. OR, you COULD buy two trips if you're planning on visiting PHX again, one starting in NYC, the other in PHX... but you didn't hear it from me...

A lot of people on here know I don't like to post routings... but on my trip, I'm hoping to pick up some salmon, eat some pizza, and... er... see some Bush?! (Sorry, that was the best I could come up with ).

Jan works. I'm sure there's availability later on as well.

Mach81, you can pretty easily look for availability on ITA. Use the "Month Long Search" option with from= "lga:: aa+ sea aa+" and to="phx:: aa+ sea aa+" with the number of nights you want to stay. Or look for dca routes if that's your preference. Search for a month at a time to find the desired pair of dates. Then goto aa.com, enter those dates with the multi-city option and it should come up.
