SIN-KUL
FIRST CLASS UNRESTRICTED NORMAL FARE
USD 130.00
Sure, but that flight I do in Y in fact I have found some more interesting deals. I get a Sky Suite on over 4000 miles each way. I just could not afford the 500$ one way KUL-SIN-BKK. But I will ask to upgrade the KUL-SIN at check in

Once I change travel dates in HKG or ICN, airfare will go up from $883 to $2900!! But the fare rules said unlimited stopovers?!

I've noticed the same thing; the fare rules allow a stopover, but pricing the fare with one boosts the fare way high.

I need to a return for early June from BKK to LAX, and I don't care about miles per se. I wanted a stopover in NRT, so I found this option:

June 9, ANA Flight NH5956 (operated as TG676) depart BKK 7:30a
arrive NRT 3:40p

June 10, Korean Air KE1 depart NRT 2:55
arrive LAX 8:40a

Both legs are business class and price at $878. Besides the TG flight, there are also options with UA or JE leaving BKK. Also, for the second leg, there are also options to HNL instead of LAX, but unfortunately not HNL and LAX.

This works because the layover in NRT is just under 24 hours, and is a nice way to use my free hotel night in Tokyo booked on my Expedia Japan coupon for their Hilton price "mistake" last fall.

I've heard that they serve DP or Krug in the F SK lounge after 15:00. You could practically drink your fare's worth if you'd like.
