(FARE GONE) Cheap ORD/MAN Z Class tickets

I was looking for a roundtrip fare from ORD to MAN on the BMI website and for one of the dates I selected it gave me a total price of $218.25. It let me select my seats and I paid for it with my credit card. I received an EMail confirmation and I received the tickets today. The tickets are direct from BMI and are Z class. This seems like a ridiculously low price - will they honor my tickets, or will they tell me I have to pay more when I check in? What is Z class anyway?

the taxes alone should be $200+ (depending on connections etc) !

Made the reservation on BMI's new US website.

Dates were 16th to 27th November. I checked and these dates don't work now. Some dates in April next year still worked this morning. Around April 6th or 7th I think..

Do you know what Z class is?

I think Z is award inventory ! Its certainly not a regular points earning booking class - see http://www.bmi.flyer.co.uk/, Z not listed at all.

If I were to guess I'd say you just got a flight for free - i.e. they have only charged you the taxes !

Will they honour the booking ?!? They should, but why do I think they won't !

Isn't it Business discounted / restricted.

That's an amazing deal! Am considering it even for just a mileage run - is it really true?

As a note, the fare is showing $0 with the fees $218 and change, can not book 2 people at a time, but will show for one.

Is it not a legally binding contract since I have paid the price asked in full for the ticket, especially since I purchased directly from BMI?

Hi mate... not in bed yet more like it !

This says No - http://www.bmi.flyer.co.uk, and is normally 100% accurate. Z is not listed, which is why I guessed its award inventory (which would explain why they are only charging taxes - but without taking the miles !!!! )

According to *A booking classes thread, Z is for upgrades and awards into premium economy. Somehow I doubt will earn any miles.

And just double-checked on BD website - Z not there either in the earning table.

Ta KF. No miles it seems - but who cares if they honour it for taxes alone ! What a shame its not bookable in the other direction ! Think I'll go back and check... !!!
