Fare rules from basis code
Forgive me if this is a stupid newbie FAQ -- I haven't found an answer, but it might be in one of the MR threads in the primer that I can't find (links broken).
Does there exist anywhere on the web a tool which, given a basis code, will return the applicable fare rules? Thanks so much for your help! Just found the board a few days ago, and am loving it. d. |
There used to be a link somewhere, but no idea where it is now.
Anyway hope the following helps - I have found it invaluable ! http://dps1.travelocity.com/lognlogi...tr_module=FARE just put in cities and particular airline and off you go |
expedia.com will show you possible routing available for a fare, just click on the fare rules before checkout
|
If the fare is still out there, the above suggestions will work.
If it's after the fact, and the fare is no longer there (or the rules have changed), I believe only the airline has a copy of the rules. |
I was actually specifically asking because there are occasionally fares I can't get Expedia to find (even though I can find them on Travelocity or the airline's websites). Do any other sites show routing in their fare rules, besides Expedia?
