Not Bad!
For 5,094 EQM? 2.7 cpm.
It's pretty good. I must have misread the promotion the first time around, as I didn't think the triple miles were EQM -- but they are! It's a heckuvalot shorter than flying to Florida and back
If you're parking at LAX, don't forget to use a "one day parking free" coupon for The Parking Spot -- www.longtermparking.com.

Don't forget to register for the promo first.

Muahahaha!
Just snagged the last K fare (actually, Y fare according to ITN) for next Saturday!
Also grabbed a ticket for May too. This is too convenient to pass up. Probably the most economical (in terms of time) MR I'm going to see for a while.

thanks for the reminder
Thanks for the reminder. I just booked for next Sunday, 4-11. And thanks for the parking coupon tip.
The double miles promo LAX-MSP is almost as good a deal.
Unfortunately, the fare is in K, so it doesn't qualify for 1-2-free. Oh well!

Oh, and respects the parking coupon -- I've parked with TPS for over a year now, and they've never even blinked when I used the "one free day coupon" when I've gone on a 1-day MR. That's why they get all my parks, short and long.

2X EQM LAX-MSP is targeted
When I registered my wife and I for the LAX-MSP promo, we both got a message that we qualify for a special offer where the double miles would count as elite qualifying. Not sure what made us get the special offer.

LAX-MSP double EQM
Looking at the LAX-MSP promo page, there's nothing to indicate that the double miles are EQM. Can anyone clarify?
What?s more, you?ve been specially selected for an extra bonus! The 3,072 Bonus Miles you earn on your roundtrip will count toward Elite qualification.
Maybe its targeted, I see my wp number on the registration page.

This makes a trip to MSP for breakfast an interesting option!

It may have gone away. My fare basis is KPR7NRN for flights on April 11.
But LAX-MSP is still showing up for $214 -- so about 3.5 cents per EQM and between 2.2 and 3.5 cents per base mile depending on current status with the double EQM bonus, which may or may not be targeted.

I just booked MSP-LAX for Memorial Day weekend, and it was only $182.10, all in. I couldn't resist--though I likely won't qualify for the double EQMs because my address is abroad. But still a great price for a holiday getaway! I found the $182.10 for most tickets all summer, depending on days of travel.

Anyone else flying this Sunday
I'm taking the LAX-DEN-LAX run this weekend, April 10. Upgrades both ways came through on Monday morning -- 3A both ways. Anyone else going to be on these flights?
