MR - same day RT check-in question

I'm doing a Christmas day MR to top off my AA Plat renewal. I leave BDL at 9:30 AM to ORD then on to DFW. I spend from about 12:30 to 3:30 or so in DFW and then have a direct DFW to BDL round trip.

When I check in at BDL in the AM do I get all 3 tickets or do I check in again in DFW?

I did a MR last Saturday and had to check in every time. NO MORE ROUND TRIP BOARDING PASSES.

You will have to check in twice.
Once in BDL, and once in DFW.
No biggie, the 3 hour layover should give you plenty of time

BWI-MSP-LAS-MSP-BWI on Sunday -- they only checked me in for the outbound.

If you do a circle trip, you may still get multiple boarding passes...

I've had inconsistant results on Continental. There were times that even when the computer issued all the boarding passes, the agent held back the return flight boarding passes. Other times the agent held back all except the first outbound segment. And still other times I was issued all boarding passes, outbound and return. Go Figure!

On AA, the AAgent has tried to withhold boarding passes, but I've politely asked to be given everything the computer spits out and they have complied.
