MR from SFO needed on United
Oh Gawd!! I'm going to be losing my Premier Exec status this year... it's been so bad, I haven't even met Premier status!! ARGH
It's aweful after 9 years in a row as a 1P...
I have 18577 flight miles logged this year, so I need to pick up about 6500 more miles.
Anyone have any suggestions on a cheap mileage run from SFO/OAK/SJC on United??

Good luck. At this late date it's very difficult to find inexpensive fares + meet advance purchase requirements + locate available seats in the appropriate booking class. You will need to be incredibly flexible.
You could book 25,000 miles of travel in January-February, which would (presumably) give you uninterrupted Premier status through Feb. 2005. Four 6250-mile runs aren't unreasonable. Note that you are only 1423 miles away from earning four more 500-mile upgrades, so a little three-segment Christmas Day run might still be advantageous.

If you could get yourself to Vegas cheaply (JetBlue perhaps from Oakland?), you could then book a $252 T fare to New York with a few stops each way. The LAS T fares have no advance nor min stay requirements but availability may be gone already.

The last E-Fares for a while are available. Technically, they're not Mileage Runs, but you could snag a Saturday red-eye and return Monday with a one-night hotel stay?
