AA-ORD Mileage run / Looking for help for first run
Can anyone make some suggestions for my first AA milage run? I need 5 more segments to maintain my Platinum status this year on AA. I can fly virtually any time before the end of the year, with the exception of the holidays.Thanks in advance!

For $334, you can do ORD-STL-ICT-DFW-SFO-ORD on December 11, with 4,298 status miles and no overnight stay required. Enter different city pairs in Expedia and play with the flights with multiple connections. Very likely you'll find something even less expensive.

Ok.
Assuming that this is a good deal....
I found ORD-STL-DFW-PHX-STL-ORD on 12/14. According to my math that gets 3194 Q-miles(257+548+872+1260+257)and 7264 miles w/ PLT bonuses (1000+1000+1744+2520+1000).
Anyone agree?

MileageNut, how close are you on Q-miles?
ORD-LAX-ORD can also be done on 12/14 and gets almost the same number of Q-miles.
ORD-STL-DFW-PHX-STL-ORD would actually be 500+548+872+1260+500 = 3680 with the 500 Q-mile minimum.
