Continental Segment Vs. Mile Ques
Have a choice of flights
Can do 2 segments for 1500 or 3 segment for 1500 (plus extra $5). Any advantage to doing the 3rd beside adding an extra segment for qualification to Continental.. What would u guys choose

What status are you gunning for? Will the extra segment help you acheive it in any way? If yes, take the extra segment. If no, don't bother with it... it takes up time and money (therefore diluting your cost per mile).
Of course, you could always try to credit the third segment to Rapid Rewards...

Actually now that u mention it
3 flights is 4:30PM to 9:30PM
2 flights is 5:45PM to 11:21PM
so the 3 flights is shorter. 17 less miles and $5 more but Im going to go for the 3 flights credited.
