Any cheap Hilton stays?

I am looking for cheap Hilton stays which qualify for the double-double promotion.

Any particular location, PG?

I noted that:

Hilton Windsor (CAD119/Night*, About $79, January 30-February 5)

Hilton Suites Detroit Metro Airport ($87/Night, Feb 1, Feb 3-4)

Hilton Suites Auburn Hills ($89/Night, February 2-4)

are all nearby in your current "area", but I do not know if the rates will qualify! !

No particular location. My last "run" was for $19 at Laughlin, but they are no longer with HHonors. Reno has a $29 rate but that rate does not qualify for Hilton points.

Whatever happened with the Flamingo Hotels in Nevada? My no shows were billed but I did not receive HHonors points because the $19/night was "too low". HHonors refunded my credit card but I would have preferred to "buy" the points. Now these cheap hotels belong to Park Place.

Sorry, back to your question...I would suggest when travel to the South, use Homewood Suites, in the North, use Hampton Inn. Both offer breakfast, are roomy and located in the smallest of cities while still netting you points. Look at weekend breaks with Doubletree Dream Deals too.

Seattle Seatac Doubletree in Feb for $5 a night. Absolutely UNBEATABLE for a Hilton property. See my thread on General Travel Talk.

Since Priceline stays do not offer points (though there may be isolated anecdotes about how someone got points or miles for a stay), this will not work as a "mileage run".

The best of the ones reported here still is the $49 corporate rate at Reno Hilton which will get after one stay during the promotion - triple Hilton points (if using Amex) and 1000 airline miles.

Yes, but that's about US$66., so the above rates are better! That's why I left off the new Hilton GI at Hoffman Estates near ORD in Illinois at $55.! Yet they are running a double miles & points promo using the H3 plan code!

AND: Hilton Durham ($59/Night, February 6-12)

Looking at Value Rates, I see the Las Vegas Hilton has $48 coming up, Doubletree Hotel Albuquerque has $49 coming up, and there are several $49 dates at the Doubletree Hotel Colorado Springs-World Arena.

Value Rates are typically $10 less than the "best available rate," but not always ... there are definitely some "hidden gems" buried in the reservations system. Rates do not include taxes.

Is the consensus now that "no-shows" receive full HHonors credit?

remember Reno has 2 hiltons so you can move back and forth to avoid those consecutive nights and get more "stays".
