UA SFO-DFW $138 including tax
This morning I booked SFO-X/DEN-DFW RT on a VE14A1N fare basis for $138 total. 3216 status miles + Premier Executive bonus + online booking bonus = .019¢/mile.

This fare is gone now. It was valid for travel Feb. 8-Mar. 4, and only required a 1-day minimum stay (which didn't need to be Saturday). BTW, it did show up in this morning's Airfare Advisory (http://www.air-fare.com/sfo.htm), and was still bookable at the time I posted.
At the same time, SFO-X/ORD-DFW priced at $238 total on a WE14A1N fare basis--which isn't quite as good a deal--although it would work for a quick turnaround. Since I need hotel stays for a Hilton HHonors "conquest" promotion, and it's less expensive to book a qualifying rate in Texas than California, of course I'll fly when the miles are nominally valued at more than the airfare!
However, something similar turned up last week for a few hours, so this may turn out to be something akin to the Columbus fares.
Maybe we should start referring to these as "Whack-a-Mole" fares?
