Seems to be an error fare where the fare is $0 and all I paid are taxes. However, there is no confirmation email, and it hasn't been ticketed yet.

Still waiting on the phone line, any of you had experiences with error fares, and what to do if they refuse to ticket? Or if you are an AA Exp get an express call button to the reservations

Why are you calling?? The last thing you want to do with an error fare is call to have an agent do anything with the reservation, especially if it hasn't even ticketed yet.

First rule of any AA ticket is its not going to ticket instantly like you see with UA or DL.
Just the way the backend works at AA.
It can take days to ticket a fare.

Not in my experience booking 20 AA tickets this summer, I booked something this weekend, took less than 5 mins

I just checked they are canceled. No more flying fun. I read a few blog posts about mistake fare, passengers are at the airline's goodwill at this situation. Considering its AA, I think it will be just nothing in the end. Now I'm gonna give them a call to vent.
Edit: more than 4 hours wait for their phone lines, will try tomorrow.
