been trying to book , SWU hard to come by, started from Christmas out till Feb, all option cities too

This is not a deal. These are basic fares no eqms. Show me a mistake J fare for $980 RT.

If you were able to apply an SWU to this fare it'd be daylight robbery.

Respectfully disagree, a $250 RT ticket to Asia is a very good deal; you'd pay as much for a shuttle between WAS/NYC/BOS/ORD. Not all are B fares either.

It was worth flagging to the community.

Also available from RDU starting at around $325 for that period.

Just keep in mind, Japan isn't expected to open to tourists at all this year (I live here, follow the situation closely). Unless you have a residence permit or Japanese passport you won't be admissible.

Great fare, but don't see it being usable for most people. Spring 2022 is a maybe, but Fall 2021, not a chance the way things are now, and vaccine rollout is at an absolute snails pace.

Also, the fare books as "BASIC PLUS BAG." If you are ex-DCA, then main cabin is $362, but as others have said, I don't see it opening up before the end of the year. In short, don't be an AA bag holder. YMMV.
