DCA/BOS/ORD/DEN-JFK-KEF RT on DL for $248; JFK-KEF RT $234

Iceland is open to fully vaccinated US travelers. Here is a great deal from DCA/BOS/ORD/DEN to KEF via JFK for $248 (basic economy; $150 more for regular economy). https://www.google.com/travel/flight...hFQhIGCAEQABgA
It will be booked through Virgin Atlantic.
Happy travels!

Edit: JFK-KEF Nonstop RT for $234.

Any way to get the Virgin Atlantic pricing but have it ticketed through DL? Guessing not....just trying to hit the accelerators.

This sale is Sky Team’s response to United new ORD-KEF route. United also has EWR-KEF.

It is not possible to ticket through DL with this price. But DL price is much higher ($508) for basic economy.

Virgin Atlantic isn’t even part of SkyTeam.

If this was a SkyTeam response, you would see options on AFKLM too.

This is why the same fare is not available on DL. This is a Virgin sale. A very good one. Thanks for sharing!

Virgin Atlantic is in relationships with DL/AF/KLM, but never married to ST. 😭😭

BTW, the fares are gone!

Yes, they may have individual partnerships so they have some connectivity and aren’t out in an island by themselves, but they are still not a SkyTeam carrier.

They are also 49% owner by Delta.

Stinks that the fares are gone!
