No American credit for travel in Malaysia P Class Business Suite?
Malaysia Airlines Business Suite tickets apparently book into the “P” fare bucket. According to American Airlines “P” class is not a valid fare bucket for earning AAdvantage credit with American. Does anyone have any insight into this?

I've asked a Mod to move this to the AA forum as it not a Mileage Run Deal.
P class on Malaysian is excluded from earning. Similar earning problems happened between LH/LX/OS P class and UA for credit a few years back. Only thing you can do is credit to a program that does provide credit for P class. Here is a link to a guide of which programs do. Confirm before requesting any credit. https://www.wheretocredit.com/malaysia-airlines/p

P is the booking code for partner F (well, formerly F) awards on MH. While they've officially discontinued the F branding, the cabin is still F for all intents and purposes, including the use of booking codes F and A for revenue fares.
Maybe they've realigned P to be a dual-purpose booking code, for partner awards and deeply discounted revenue fares. If so, sorry OP, but you are SOL in this case, unless AA changes the earning table before you travel.

According to the AAdvantage earning chart for MH, P fare earns nothing. Unfortunately, I don’t think you can fight this one with AA.

Now that MH no nonger has 1st class, it is not an award class , but used for revenue bookings for business suite
Even though this has changed, AA has mot changed its earning tables to grant mileage credit
