UA/AA: PHL-PEK for $400, 15692 PQM or 2.5 cpm

PHL-PEK round trip for $400 (PHL-SFO-PEK-ORD-PHL, 15692 PQM on United) from Sept to Dec. You will have to stay two nights in Beijing, though.
Here is a sample itinerary (with good connection time).

You can get down to $386 with combine train and fly: https://www.google.com/flights/?gl=u...13*2.USD.38513

This is actually not a bad option. Depending on where you live or work, 30th St Station might be handier than PHL. It's a short train ride up to EWR.

Are you allowed to skip the train trip if you live near EWR?

Does this risk your flight getting cancelled?

I cannot answer that. While I have taken the train to Newark, I have never bought it as part of a United itinerary. Maybe someone else can answer this.

Booked EWR-PVG-NRT-IAD-YOW from 12/5 - 12/8 for $303.

My home airport being IAD, would I be able to skip the last leg? Would the miles still post?

I think this reply probably belongs in the China OJ thread (perhaps a mod can move it there?), and I put your travel info in the Wiki there.

Regarding skipping the last leg, I've read that you may have trouble with collecting/rechecking bags if you arrive in IAD at the midfield location, but I assume you won't be checking bags for such a short trip. As far as the miles posting, yes, they should...however, I can not (legally?) recommend you skip the last leg, although I and others have done it in the past. I believe, but I can't be sure, that as long as you don't make a habit of it, UA will not have any problem with it.

This is exactly what I need. 12/6 to 12/9 for $576 with tax . I'll be at 81,000 PQM for United with my current plans, so this would bring me 97k.

Then I'll add a PHL or EWR run to YVK Vancouver and I'm done! great find Kmxu

DEN-PEK is $350. PHL-PEK deals (<$400) have been around for a long time.
