*A - EWR > MAD - $272 USD return

Good availability throughout this year and next. Tickets are booked into Economy Basic which only earn 50% PQM on UA (cannot comment on other * partners). However, for this deal you have a number of *A partners to choose from including UA, AC and LX. Upgrading the fare to normal economy will cost you another $150 USD more which for many may not be worth it since you're only getting extra miles out of the upgrade if you're already an elite (i.e. E+ seating is free on UA even in Economy Basic if you book the ticket in a certain way).

Has anyone been able to find the SFO TO LON U/A airfare for $299. I checked the day after this was posted on skyscanner, matrix ita, google flites, kayak United, and did not find it.

usually these super discounted fares don't last long. (don't tell that to the current BCN/MAD fares <300 that have been around over a week)
