IB : BCN-BOS $190's

Sample Skyscanner Link: https://www.skyscanner.com/transport...=economy&rtn=1

Looks like this books into A

Appears to be mostly Thursday Departures and Tues/Thurs returns

Here's a link to my blog post on this fare: https://notiflyr.com/2019/05/17/barc...on-194-iberia/

Note that this is a LEVEL flight, so expect a LCC experience and no Oneworld benefits. Also the partners you can credit to are restricted (e.g. no earning with AA or BA) and mileage earning is limited.

These should book into A, and https://www.wheretocredit.com/iberia/a shows something different.
Does LEVEL operation alter the points accrual on IB?

The operating airline is LEVEL, so the above chart does not apply.
IB is just the marketed carrier

It also explicitly states excluding LEVEL flights

OMAAT recently had an article on FF accrual on Lévèl's flights. It would appear that per AA and BA/IB you'll earn 10% accrual on their A fares which seems a bit limited. That being said, the price is not bad if you actually want to go to Stateside, certainly cheaper than what Norwegian or Easyjet would charge! The GC distance on the route is 3410 OW so you're looking at approximately 700 FF miles on this trip. I can earn about the same amount of UA miles with a 10 quid car rental from Hertz! Let's just call this deal an frequent travel, MR lite special

Safe Travels,

James

That article is actually from 2017, just after LEVEL launched. I know AA has discontinued earning on LEVEL, and I believe BA has as well, making Iberia Plus the only program that still offers miles on (at least Iberia-operated) LEVEL flights: https://www.wheretocredit.com/level/
