UA EWR/IAD to PVG/CTU $500, for 19K PQM

Congratulations to grab the deal!
Boston really does not get any love from United to Chengdu - the cheapest economy fare BOS-CTU roundtrip is always priced at W class or above for $1600 or more. I don't actually quite understand United's strategy for the huge price difference between EWR-CTU and BOS-CTU where both itineraries are so similar in terms of flight distance and serve (PS flight to SFO for the CTU flight), especially given the fact that EWR is a UA hub and BOS is a super competitive market with multiple carriers offering flights to Asia.....
On the bright side, the fare from Boston to Shanghai has been very competitive over the past few years.....

There are two good deals out of IAD on United right now.
IAD-CTU for $395,
IAD-PVG for $399.
EWR-CTU is also $395.

IAD-CTU/PVG for less than $500
Available for Sept to early December, about $500, to either PVG or CTU. But must stay 3 nights.

There are some availability in March for WAS-PVG under $400 ($388 with one-night stay in Shanghai). You can have a long routing like IAD-LAX-PVG-SFO-IAD for >17000 BIS miles (or 2.2 cpm).
