K Class gives 0% to AS. :( I booked SYD-LAX return via NAN on FJ with 100% EQM for $693. QF is less than $100 more for HKG-AKL and earns 100% EQM to AS.

Not out of point at all! Just an example of how poor a value it is for AS Mileage Plan members who may be looking for EQM/RDM. They would be checking this fare "deal" too. Not a good fare for an AS mileage run. Period! For ~$100 more QF will get you between the same cities with 100% EQM/RDM + Elite Bonus. Mileage runs are about maximizing miles and minimizing costs. By illustrating SYD-LAX, others who see that this is not a mileage run at all for AS may find it useful especially if they need to reposition anyway.

If you are looking for a cheap flight and need to get from HKG to AKL, it'll save you a few bucks but it is definitely not a mileage run for AS. In fact, it is worthless! That was my point.
