Anyone know if it's possible to search by fare basis only? This (and the jfk-sin thread ) have the same fare basis code, wondering if there's an easy way to pull up all routes with this fare basis without searching manually

Still, my original question remains... If it's an unadvertised special and I know the same fare basis exists for multiple routes on the same airline, how can I easily query on fare basis.(versus trial and error?)

as far as I know trial and error. Expertflyer for example origin & destination are required for a fare search.

Reading the fare rules will often give you a good starting bases. I have booked a few LA fares where the fare rule says for flights originating in South Korea. I wouldn't be looking for a HKG origination. Specific required flights, flights/airlines allowed/disallowed, dates/days eligible, surcharges/discounts, routings etc.. are all in the fare rules.
