You can also book a one way flight for $71 and get off in Panama City instead of going the full way to Aruba

This is perfect, been struggling to get a flight back from AUA in July. United want $700 to get back to Phoenix one way. If I can book this, I'll just use miles to get MIA to PHX.

Is it possible to book this on United.com for PQM/PQD? Google flights takes me to Copa, and United doesn't have this option showing in their search.

If it doesn't show on UA.com, I don't think you're going to get it.

You should get some PQM for booking this, but why even consider PQD? It's $50, won't really move the needle IMO.
