Oneworld: BRU-NYC 300 EUR Round Trip

Found this fare of a roundtrip BRU to NYC for €300 EUR around new year 2019. See link to Google Flights:
https://www.google.nl/flights/#flt=B...WORLD;sd:1;t:f

I find 2 layovers and a travel time of almost 15 hours for a flight that normally takes 8 hours a bit to long. Can somebody construct a route on the specified dates where travel time is less for the same price? Would be really helpful! Would prefer to book truth AA because I still have a travel voucher lying around which I can use for this trip.

For the mileage runners under us, I even got to a point where the trip back was NYC - ORD - PHL - LHR - BRU for the same price.

not unusual even for Christmas time. Prices sub 300 from AMS/BRU - NYC are normal these days

Agree, this is a routine EU/NYC fare. All over *A as well for $349-$400.

Agree +2.

You can even get it down to 262 on oneworld by changing the dates!
