True stopovers cost $100 each.

I booked it. Everything shows ticketed and confirmed on the AA side. The only debate is how this will post - special fare (distance) or fare based. I am inclined to think special fare based on my receipt.

LAX-HKG posted as a full fare Y (20% EQD) and 1.5 EQM. Not sure if it's because of this fare or because a SWU cleared but amazing nonetheless.

So, thought I'd do a follow up on this deal since no one else has and AA has already updated my activity for the trip. I booked this LAX-SIN flight on April 6th on Fareboom for $327 roundtrip for May 10 to May 14. It ticketed within a day and I confirmed on AA website. Could have booked for $311 but dates were not adequate for me. Today is May 15th so I just returned from Singapore yesterday. Arrived SIN around midnight Fri night and departed early Mon morning. Stayed two days. First ever visit. Great city to visit.

Phenomenal deal indeed and yes, received 10% distance flown for EQD. I'm AAdvantage Gold Status member as I typically only fly standard economy a few times a year for personal or vacation. Never for work.

Here are the results of the $327 flight from LAX to SIN. Going was LAX-NRT-SIN. Return was SIN-HKG-LAX. So as shown in image below, I received 17,622 EQM, 4 EQS and 1,764 EQD. Award miles totaled 12,338 (8,812 + bonus of 3,526). So my gold status renewal needs through Jan 2020 has already been accomplished with this one trip.

So, thanks to posters on here for the great find that cost little but accomplished a lot.
