I’m ticketed! Anyone have any idea if/how this credits to Alaska?

Poorly. When I looked it up, it's only 25% base miles on the USA-HKG segment. Everything else was AA coded which isn't eligible for AS credit.

All the options in May seem to be sold out.

Still can return some availability. Per fare rules, other LA airports also qualify so I was also able to get an itinerary to pull up to SNA:

LAX-HKG-SIN//SIN-HND-SFO-DFW-SNA

adds ~2300 miles (and $230 EQD) over SFO-LAX above for just $40.

Does anyone know how to pull up this itinerary? I'm new at this and still learning. Tried listing it as multi-city and I don't think I'm doing it right.

"-TO FORM ROUND TRIPS WITH AA FARES -TO FORM CIRCLE TRIPS A MAXIMUM OF 2 FARE BREAK POINTS PERMITTED."

Break points mean stopovers or connections on AA partners?

How did you happen to find the on facebook?

You specifically were seeking a LAX-SIN and accidentally saw the fare?
Typically I will only check google flights and never find these type of deals.

Can you find a great mileage run out of Seattle?

Manual request may be able to get AS points on AA coded if AS Partner Operated. though at 25% or zero depending on the partner fare class.

Still there, but appears to be an exclusive to fareboom.
yes but the AA flights posting as AA if they don't post as a special fare will be awful EQDs.

Of course. But you’d at least get something from an AA coded flight. If it’s a CX coded flight, one gets nothing.

My ticket is one of the ones that came up with all AA flight numbers, including both TPAC legs on AA. The Alaska Air site notes:
  • You'll still earn miles on domestic American Airlines flights with an Alaska Airlines (AS) flight number, and on all American international flights.
The chart indicates that the "O" fare class (which I want to say is my fare classes) receives 25% mileage accrual...does this mean that I should earn 25% miles (~4400 miles in total) for the entire itinerary? I'm somewhat new to this game, sorry if I'm misunderstanding!

For example LAX-HKG-LAX it earns ~3630.

HKG-SIN-HKG, it may or may not earn 25% if underlying fare class is O. Officially per the AS page must be marketed and ooperated by AA to earn anything but in practice they will still award points as long as AA coded and operated by another Alaska partner. May need to keep boarding pass and submit for manual credit.

That would be a phenomenal deal if so. I don't know if I can take the risk but man... ~$1700 EQDs for $311? Just wow.
Why would this get $1700 in EQD

Per this link to American's site, EQD on 'O' fares is equivalent to 10% of the distance flown (in this case, 17,000 miles).
