Be careful to check the fares before booking, I've found that sometimes the outward books into Q fare, which earns very little.
This is an interesting fare, but positioning flights might make it a lot less attractive. The TPs for this would be 20+70+20+20=130 by my reckoning, as the AMM-BKK-KUL is under one flight code.

Some anecdotes on FT suggest the transfer counter can provide not just a transit hotel but, at the same time, also a short-time visa which is valid exclusively for the transit hotel (and the trip to it from the airport).

The ist-bkk and ist-hkg available with just 1hr45min and 4hr on the return for long connections or 24hours can take advantage of zuwar stopover program from 6-24hr transits
