Per the mods, the Mileage Run Deals forum is only for posting/discussing active deals. If you were looking for the previous mega-thread including suggestions on things to do in Singapore etc. and peripheral stuff related to the SIN MR but not directly having to do with fares or booking it, that thread can still be found in the Mileage Run Discussion forum:

In addition, discussions about DL and SkyMiles including recent program changes can be found in the Delta forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta-air-lines-skymiles-665/

Questions/advice about Singapore as a destination can be found in the Singapore forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/singapore-510/

Thanks for your post and info on prices. Let us know how the run goes when you make it. Prices still not good yet for the fall. Will post some prices in the following message. Have a good flight.

Smile Prices May 10, 2018

Phil, thanks for your post and prices, here is what I found tonight
IAH SIN
$889.91 Sep 3-6, 10-13, 17-20, 24-27, Oct 22-15, Nov 2-5
$901.91 Sep 2-5, 9-12, Oct 7-10
$902.91 Dec 3-6
$906.39 Nov 19-22 - Thanksgiving week
If you try for 2 day out and back, prices much higher, that is the reason for the 3 day. MQM about 21,600 thru ATL and or DTW. Remember from ATL NRT you have access to C+ if you are medallion at no charge if you are PM or DM and possibly GM but on DTW NRT you have prem select which you have to pay for unless you have GUC which I would only use for J or suites. Safe travels. Leave in a week for TLV via LAX JFK FCO TLV FCO JFK LAX. With what I now know about Alitalia and C+ it is a mistake to go thru FCO as that is on Alitalia. Much better to go on DL as at least you have C+. You are also eligible for C+ on KLM. Will hope the rockets will have ceased by next week but will have to wait and see. Happy travels. Looking forward to some trips to SIN in Sep and Dec and possibly to PVG as well.

Prices Jun 10, 2018

It has been a while since I have posted any prices. These are not particularly good but need to keep all updated. Have been traveling with last trip to Israel May 20-28 LAX JFK FCO TLV FCO LAX was supposed to be TLV FCO JFK LAX but FCO JFK was delayed and we were placed on FCO LAX which got us back 6 hrs earlier so we could meet family in time for wife's Birthday dinner. Seat not particularly good but at least was aisle as we were 4 rows from back of plane. Long flight 12:40. Flights between JFK FCO TLV were all Alitalia which I will try to avoid in the future as no C+ available without paying extra. In that case I try for bulkheads or exit rows. Hopefully prices for SIN will come down in late July or Aug is when it usually happens. Planning on a trip to PVG and SIN in Sep and Dec.
$900.01 Sep 3-6, 10-13, 17-20, 24-27, Oct 15-18, 22-25, Nov 5-8 Lowest price
$902.01 Sep 2-5, 9-12, 16-19
$903.01 Dec 2-5, 3-6
Not much difference MQM vary from 21,602 DTW DTW inbound and outbound, 21,668 DTW ATL to 21,734 ATL ATL
Basic economy is about $100 less, if you fly DTW NRT DTW there is C+ only Prem Select so I usually choose ATL NRT which has C+. If you have GUC they can be used for Prem Select but I would not use them for that. My preference. Would only use them for J.
Blessings and Happy Travels to all. If you have any questions please post or send me a PM.

I feel another huge loss for Delta Mileage Runs (and effective use of GUC's) is the recently announced decision to drop the SEA-HKG route!

Before that it was the NRT-BKK route

Delta just keeps pulling back handing off these markets to KE & MU.

Another great loss to a valued use of GUC's on the SEA-HKG route.

Thanks for your post and suggestion. Much easier to spend a few $ and get more MQD as well as pretty good returns on MQM and RDM as charging AMX $250,000 is not a realistic option for most of us. With 2 or 3 similar flights you should be able to get your MQD and adequate MQM for DM for another year. That is the approach which I will be using for the rest of this year to requalify for DM for next year. If any readers get some good leads on other flights, please share. Will continue to share what I find on MR to SIN.
Happy Travels and keep posting.

Agreed! I'm in the same boat. I'm planning to make DM next year, but it's almost all personal travel with my spouse and children. So, it gets a bit pricy if you can't find deals like these.

They are out there. Keep an eye on partner premium cabin deals. Aeromexico has been a good source, and occasionally the European partners. Maybe KE will open up some, we'll see.

for DM, MQD will be the "hard to achieve for cheap" part for most of us, I suspect.

Not much difference - best price this week is $912.01 with mult dates Sun Wed and Mon Thr in Sep Oct and a few in Dec
$912.01 Sep 2-5, 3-6, 9-12, 10-13, 16-19, 17-20, 23-26, 25-27, 30-Oct 3, 7-10, 14-17, 15-18, Nov 4-7, 5-8
$918.50 Thanksgiving week Nov 19-22, Dec 2-5, 3-6

Prices will probably come down in Aug, poss late July. Just have to keep looking and checking. Realistically if you want DM you need to think about doing some runs on partners to get your MQD up as it is too difficult for most of us to charge AX $250,000. Happy Travels to all, hope you had a good July 4 and keep posting and asking questions. Maybe need to post MQD runs - if any of you find one please let the readers know. Blessings to all. Keep cool this summer.
