Happy 2018!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:
  • When posting 'Good deals' fares: please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices.
  • Note that you can subscribe to this thread: go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".
  • This is not a fare request thread. Any fare requests will be deleted.
  • This is not a how to book a fare thread.

And since it's basic economy quite possibly in middle seat. Or is AA's version of BE more lenient than UA?
I believe you earn miles with both AA/DL.

It's UA that tries to screw you over and force you to pay more for elite miles.

Haven't searched for fares in a little while, but last time I did, both AA and DL offered BE to Canada, while UA did not.

Hm, UA normally just copies whatever DL does, so I was guessing no earning

Guess UA knows I would find midweek flights with empty cabins if they allowed mileage accrual. OK, good for you, now it makes more sense (to me).

Fantastic price: doesn't seem to work in reverse sadly. Cheapest I can see from MAN-CNX is £434.

https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...018-02-28;eo=e

You can also play around with the dates and add CPH, OSL as the departure city and other North American cities like SEA, ORD,YYZ, and MIA. Basically the entire Lufthansa North American route map.
Please let me know what you think of this find and if it was of help to you!

LHR-SEA (August UK school holidays) on Air France

Adult = £402pp
CHildren under 16 = £332pp

Out = 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 August

Return = 20, 21, 27, 28, 29 August

Book AirFrance.com. Hand baggage fare, so pay a bit extra if you want to check in a suitcase.

Family (2adults and 2kids) = £1556 with one checked bag.

i’ve booked And been confirmed.

its a new AF route, hence must be the reason for the cheap prices.
