Another solid Asia deal (seems to only work coming out of HK):

Seems valid for most of January and February (quick turn arounds seem to be permitted).

Safe Travels,

WARNING! The HKG-YVR legs (the main over-the-water legs) are going to be in Air Canada's 777 HD. HD stands for High-Density, or as I prefer to call it, Hell and Damnation.

There are multiple threads about the evils of the 777HD, but the biggest is the lack of bathrooms in economy. Bring your own supply of Depends.

You can now apply the Boxing Day DISCOUNT CODE (GIFT2017) for the fare to drop it down by 15%.

https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/...1/farereview:1

In the example above the fare is as low as $318 USD ($404 CAD)

Agree with Boogie711 that this would be a painful MR however...

I checked the seat maps for AC's 77W. One of the two versions have pax/bath ratio of 66. United's 77W has a ratio of 51. The bathrooms are put evenly over the economy cabin of United. I guess that our neighbors use bathrooms less often.

AC HD - 398 'Y' pax, with 6 lavs
UA 777 - 306 'Y' pax, with 6 lavs
AA 777 - 246 'Y' pax with 8 lavs

Imagine this - 50 minutes before landing, you're thinking "Hmmm... I should probably pee." Then the pilot comes on and says "We're anticipating turbulence, so we're going to turn the fasten seatbelt sign on early... you've got about ten minutes."

You're now competing with a whopping 65 people per toilet.

Hell to the No.
