Haven’t tested other dates too much, seems a great price on a decent airline.

Confirmed $490 on ITA (3.37cpm), fare class is OLXSPCL, base fare is $288. Valid 14 Jan through 23 May, Mon-Thurs, must ticket by Dec 31. Fare was loaded Oct 31.

Basically good only on CX 884 and 885 (the crappy times what a surprise!), but can include AA as a fare component on domestic US flights to LAX.

There are at least 9 seats available on the dates you posted, at this very moment, so it seems we're still pretty early in this particular bucket...

Ya, that was the Black Friday deal, it's gone. This seems to be their followup - prepared well in advance - to get people to grab remaining inventory on the least desirable departure times once that bucket was finally released (seemingly today).

Does this qualify for mileage accrual on AA if on CX? If I'm reading the AA chart right (and ITA), this will book into O which is not in the AA table so no EQMs/EQDs.

$407 RT on AA on dates I have already (HKG-LAX-JFK RT I paid $526 for and already have return UPG'd with SWU's at least the LAX-HKG segment.)

LAX-HKG $520 with creative routings allowed

it doesnt matter if its CX metal, just as long as its AA codeshare. I've had good luck in the past finding same CX flights/segments under AA codeshare for pretty much same price... then you get full EQMs/EQDs

A lot of times though, AA codeshare is over 1k, while CX code is sub 500
