AA from DCA to San/SMF for $110. R/T
I paid $110 for a day trip from DCA to San on January 24, 2018. Itinerary:. DCA to DFW to San to PHX to DCA. I saw another day trip for $107. I found this on the Flight Deal.

I bought IAD-SAN on Jan 24 for $55 - this also books into O instead of B (basic economy). Looks like AA is challenging some UA hubs (SFO, IAD, EWR). This won't do me much good for 2018 EQD but we'll cross that bridge later.
