BA: Thanksgiving week special SJC>Milan $436 RT
I just booked this today. $436 RT with the AARP discount. It's cheap economy ticket earning only about 6000 avios, but it's a cheap vacation. You can play around and get on the two connection flights and save another $20 if you wish. Good luck. 19th>27th

Seems to be a bit more wide- until March 31 or so.
Most of US and EU are in play it seems as well- AA or BA. |
Just grabbed something similar. I was looking for a quick Christmas trip.
PDX-CDG on AA, $476, 12/10-12/25, booked via Finnair. Edit to add: Unlike some partner-booked flights, this one tied in neatly to AA's systems. I was able to login to AA today and select MCE seats and request 500mi upgrades. Nice. |
Oh nice, these fares were around for a while with 7 days required stay but now work with 3 day stays! Will grab a few thanks.

Thanks, this is a pretty sweet deal!

SJC-Milan
As of 11/9, I don't see $436 on AA, BA, Ita or google search between Nov-Jan?

I think this is mostly gone. There are a handful of dates from late November through mid December with SFO/OAK-FCO for ~$875 AI RT before any discounts, but those are booking into the deepest discount buckets. Not finding anything comparable for MXP or LIN at the moment.
For a few hours last Thursday I was seeing SFO/OAK - MXP/FCO/BLQ for ~$610 AI RT on BA.com, booking into BA S (10% EQD on AA, translating to around $1200 disAAdvantage EQD credit for $610 spend on a mini-vacation). Disappeared before I could find any dates that worked for my schedule. Really hoping that shows up again, but not holding my breath. |
There will be lots of these over holiday breaks. MXP is nice, but you can do better.

Looks like the fares are back! For at least the two weeks after Thanksgiving. Now works from SFO-MXP/LIN/FCO. (Possibly others.) Seeing ~$500 AI.
ETA: Just booked a SFO-MIA-MXP RT on AA metal with BA flight numbers via ba.com for $495 AI. Booked into N class, which earns only 50% EQMs on AA but is a solid EQD run at ~$1500 EQD credit for $495 out of pocket. |
This is great, just got one more SEA-AMS for $415 (with AARP). Usually these cheap fares have 7 day stay required but not the case here!

But if your projected EQD earnings come through, please report back. |
