Yeah, the dates are a lot more limited. For some reason I'm having difficulties in finding it if it's not the first part of the fare. http://i.imgur.com/122DbFC.png

I can get dates into summer connecting in MAD and CX to HKG-TYO. Problem is, I can't force LAN metal on the SCL-MAD segment for some reason, it only gives me the IB flight, which is crap, and also zero AK miles.

I am starting my Mileage Run today. Beautiful sunny Monday morning in ICN. Excellent Korean Airlines Customer service at check-in. When the agent saw my ICN-HKG-SYD-SCL itinerary sans stopovers he actively moved me into an exit row, no charge, and put a priority sticker on my luggage so I would get it sooner in SCL. He even asked if I wanted my luggage short checked and confirmed my Alaska Airlined Mileage Plan number on the boarding pass.

Not sure if this comment still valid.
I was told when planning to fly LAN, no matter where you are located, go to LAN CHILE website to compare fares quoted for an itinerary.
Trying to be helpful.

LA does have some domestic pricing for Chileans, such as the IPC route can vary quite a lot. But I think this ticket is too complicated to be remotely replicated on LA's website, which is hilariously bad at locating the basic airports. Usually if powertools can transfer successfully to Expedia would already be celebration-worthy for me!

Thank you, I will take any winter day like this. On the LA Itinerary I am ICN-HKG-SYD-SCL-MAD-DXB-ICN-HKG-NRT. KE, QF, QF, LA, EK, EK, KE, CX. Airlines are all partners of AS. First three in Y, last 5 in J. 30,404 miles. I will be six nights in SCL then the 5 J flights + NRT-MEL-SYD-NAN-LAX-SEA-YLW arriving home 7 days after leaving SCL. First week of November it will be YLW-SEA-SFO-LAX-NAN-SYD-BNE-HKG-LAX, I have already completed YLW-SEA-DAL, DFW-SYD-MEL-HKG-ICN. Started with QF F award, will end with CX F award. 82k+ miles flown.

I am looking for an itinerary that starts with ICN-HEL on AY, potentially followed by HEL-ARN on AY.
Then onwards to SCL - are there better/other options than HEL/ARN-FRA-MAD-SCL?
I want to fly as much as possible on LA widebody metal (because I get upgrades to business class for free thanks to my matched LATAM Black status). It would be nice to try the LATAM A350 as well, I've only flown their 788/789.
Then for the return flight I would like to either stick to LATAM metal again, or book it in business class. I don't want to fly non-LATAM longhaul economy except for ICN-HEL.
If booked in business class, I am very open for creative routings. Like LHR-SEZ? If allowed, I could also route via NZ/Australia and the Pacific (haven't been to NZ/Australia in many years), but then it would have to be in business class.
Also it would be nice to optimize for AS accrual this time (last time I didn't care about mileage earnings at all).

Don't get me wrong, I will plan this myself, but I thought maybe someone has some recommendations here.
