EK CDG KUL 900EUR on MH website

Hi everyone,

Not sure if bookable, so mods feel free to remove the post if not.
Just tried on MH website CDG-KUL appeared at 900ish EUR only available on EK code. But if you go through the booking the flexi first fare appears in the Eco restricted cabin under V fare but still listed at First Flex.

Didn't try it.

This looks like it books into restricted economy class per the MH website.

Click into "itinerary details" to see. I wouldn't risk it.

Me neither, but fare note still mentioned First Flex.
Not sure what you can do against the airline in case of downgrade

Nothing, first class ticket fare can happily book you in the economy class cabin.

Not much, especially if you have to position to catch the first segment. I can't duplicate this fare on any OTA that allows a 24 hr cancellation. And, MH is showing V fare and a conflicting "First Flex," so I wouldn't trust it.

Think MH would allow for a cancellation due to a "downgrade?"

I took the plunge on this and when I realised it was in economy cabin, I called the helpdesk and explained my issue, and after a wait I was told that the fare would be reversed and money returned back to my credit card within 24 hours when I contacted them and explained my confusion.

Exclamation MH(EK) First class? CDG-TYO 1300Euro

Hello,

For your reference,
In Malaysia ailines home-page, they are selling CDG-TYO First class at 1300Euro.
I suppose that this is an error.
There is a possibility of down-grade to Economy class.

Bye.

Booking details state: Economy restricted (V class). Downgrade to economy is certainty, not possibility; this is an economy class ticket.

On the page where you enter your details it says Economy.

Just tried it again and the fare seems to be gone.
