But you do realize that AA is flying planes anyway. There is probably only a small handful people in the world doing mileage runs on a given day. Mileage running is hardly a cause of environmental concern.

It is also possible that no one is flying to Florida for vacation, carriers are dropping prices to attract customers.

Seeing similar fares on AS. SEA-MCO RT $191 this Sat/Sun. Outbound books into Main Cabin (R), return books into Main Cabin (S). R fares have a 100% earning rate, S fares have 150% earning rate. $191 / 6,372 EQM = 3cpm
