AA: LAX-ORD $50 One way

Late October/early November, possibly other dates (didn't search)?

Same dates, $99 ORD-LAX one way. Booked for a total of $147.40. You can book a R/T fare for the same price, but if you book two one way fares, there are several more flight options.

Best part of this deal is the possibility to fly the 788!

I have seen rates as low as $83 on UA in September.

Same day return but BE fare.

Flying the 787 seems nice (38) on the days of interest to me in Nov (Tues/Wed) but it gets into ORD at 11:22pm so not much use for anything.

For 83, I can fly it early morning to DFW and then connect to ORD, but still wastes a lot of the day, getting me in after 5pm (82 for LAX-DFW so 1 more to connect to ORD).
