Similar fares (~$308) out of PIT all over the calendar until April, which is still pretty good, but with 3 stops on the outbound.

My math says it's about 4,964 EQMs without AA status, or around 6.2 CPM. Or 5,460 EQMs you'd earn if you have any status with AA (given 500 mile minimum guarantee), around ~5.6 CPM.

Not all flights are on Spirit. There are many available on others too.

They do operate a mileage program, and one-way flights are as cheap as 1,250 miles in off-peak.

Quite true. Off peaks are wonderful on Spirit.

PSA = Pacific Southwest Airlines

A great airline. Would gladly fly them to Costa Rica.
