If it isn't clear to everybody this fare is pretty much worthless to Alaska elites. Except possibly being able to reserve main cabin extra or preferred seating

I don't see where you're seeing that price from JFK.

However I did book a EWR-DFW-LAS & LAS-CLT-EWR for 2 for $229 a.i. Something similar to this:https://www.google.com/flights/?gl=u...-CLTEWR0AA2182

Except in March, 2018 when I need it to go with the HKG-LAX-JFK fare ($546.) Bummer.

Major schedule changes on this prevent a same calendar day trip ex las. Check with aa for reaccomodation options or date change options.
