Landed LAS last night. Home airport is DCA so connectected LAS DTW DCA and arrived home this morning. Routing for entire trip was as follows: IAD AMS CDG PVG KMG CMB AMS LAX HNL LAX LAS DTW DCA. Found amazing tour companies in PVG, KMG, and CMB on TripAdvisor. Took a week but it was really an awesome trip. About 40K MQM, and MQD return on MU coded flights CDG PVG KMG CMB would have come in handy for 2019 MQD requirements! Found MU coded J fare CDG PVG KMG CMB for apx. $1800. Yes, jacked up the price of the trip a bit but wow the difference with full flat J seats! I'd do it again! Anyone else completed this trip?

Currently flying AMS-CMB-AMS-LAX-HNL-OGG-LAX-SAN-LAS-DTW-BOS-AMS. Skipping the final part AMS-CMB. Started last Monday and so far without much problems. Was supposed to fly right now from BOS to AMS but was able to change the flight to tomorrow free of charge. Really impressed with Delta so far. Both ground service, and flying staff is great. Also the Delta app works great.

Why are you skipping it? I hope you don't get penalized.

Oh. Well, let's hope it doesn't cost you miles for intentionally skipping a segment. Some airlines frown on that. I've only skipped a final segment before when new travel plans came up and changing my existing ticket was too expensive. Delta hasn't minded in those circumstances, as I've let them know and they deleted the segment I intended to skip.

This is what I call frequent flying in terms of flying nuts like us! But what the heck, why not after all?
