Looks like you can route through HKG and NRT, too. With similar miles and prices.

Similar, yes...but the SFO routing is definitely the best cpm. From the little bit of searching I did, the SFO flights seem to have the cheapest options, and they're the longest flights.

EWR-SFO-SIN: 11011 miles
EWR-NRT-SIN: 10056 miles
EWR-HKG-SIN: 9653 miles

There are actually many dates available...a 2 hr turn around just looks like the minimum stay. I haven't viewed the fare rules, but you could also come back the following Tuesday (rather than that Thursday), for example.

Really just looking for a Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon joint.

I see one in April at $715, buuuuut that's no where near what I want to pay.

Not really - adding stops in NRT and HKG can add some real miles.

Just for instance, I'm seeing a EWR-IAH-NRT-SIN that yields 11371 miles, for the same exact price as going through just SFO.

Ahh, good point...I had only looked at EWR-NRT/HKG-SIN without stops between EWR and NRT/HKG. Good find! Mind sharing the link?

This is great...there are tons of dates even with the routing to HKG.
