Is this one-way? there are better prices one way... $50.

Is this roundtrip? I'm not finding it.

Bermuda can be pretty stiff for a room, any night flights?

Could you please provide a Google Flights link or brief instructions on how to construct this itinerary? Thanks, I'm still a rookie at this .

Use ITA Matrix to find dates. AA AA AA+ in the routing rules. Then use multicity on google flights.

That return flight home is going to kill you and eat at the benefit.

If you book the same itinerary as a multi-stop booking, you can get JFK-CLT-MIA-BDA down to ~$53.

Tested for May 24th.

For the return I see BDA-PHL-CLT-JFK for $140 on some days, although BDA-PHL is $368. Could I just exit the airport in PHL and not go through the rest of the trip and still get the miles for the portion I flew? PHL is my home airport and doing this would save me an overnight layover in CLT...

Dropping the last segment of a flight could in theory cause the airline to come after you. In practice, it's not going to happen unless you make a habit of it. See the thread.

You have to be sure you don't check baggage on the return, which you wouldn't normally do on an MR anyway.

But there are other risks, of course. If something goes awry, AA's only responsibility is to get you to JFK, whether or not that takes you through PHL.

very little risk in this as long as you're not a habitual hidden-city ticketer.

if BDA-PHL cancels, they'll likely re-route you BDA-JFK nonstop, or BDA-CLT-JFK. the train from NYC to PHL is a fairly small cost even at the last minute, or rent a car one way. and, if this happened you could file for ORC on your whole routing

if BDA-PHL runs late and they want to re-route you to JFK, you can simply tell them you'll wait for the delayed flight and take the train "home" to JFK to "save some flying".

you wouldn't want to check a bag as mentioned above.

you will get miles for whatever you fly, so if you just go BDA-PHL and no-show your connecting flights, you'll get credit for that segment.
