Student only w/ID AA/BA: $450 one-way LCY-US major destinations via BA1/2 biz

Just looking for spring break flights from London back to LA, and found this on studentuniverse. From US to LCY is around 470 bucks one-way, and LCY to US around 450 bucks one-way for east coast, 500 bucks for west coast. Most AA destinations have this bug price. Not sure whether the AA leg will also be Biz, but BA1/2 for sure as it is all-biz class service. I assume this bug price is AA's fault. To be eligible, you have to be under 25 or at least hold student identification. Enjoy your spring break~

I don't see any booking codes or the option to select business class fares.....

BA1/2 is an "all-biz flight" for sure (sold as AA6228/6229 in the itinerary), the only thing I'm not sure about is whether the domestic AA leg would also be Biz..

In theory a good deal.

But

You will not be in business on either sector.
There is no Y inventory on the BA flights, so if you manage to get a booking through you will most likely be rerouted on an alternative flight.
If you manage to get a ticket issued for this I will be very surprised.

This has happened before.

I was able to book this using Chase ultimate Rewards round trip for about $770.
I'll let you know if it fully tickets as purchased.

I accidentally booked similar a couple of years back, departing Spain, and it ticketed no problem, although you're at the mercy of the agents at the airport as to whether you fly it in business, or are re-routed via LHR in Y.

Depending on how much you pay, that could still be a good deal, not to mention if BA changes their mind less than 14 days ahead of the flight. ITA Matrix shows returns in December for 399.

Anyone find a way to book without uploading proof of student status? I meet the age requirements.
