Booked a return in Y for just over 5.500 EGP.
I was quite surprised to see that it wasn't even a promo fare but a saver so will earn quite a good amount of miles.
Considering the 5xQmiles offer from yesterday this must be one of the best ways to rack up tons of miles on the cheap.
base miles 7.974 *5= 39.870
bonus as PC Gold= 11.960
So as a PC Gold member you'll basically earn 51.830 miles for the equivalent of (at least when I booked it) 285.
That's about 0,55 cents per mile, I actually doubt that there was a better way (in terms of the cents per mile ratio) even with the cheap J fares out of Egypt.
Of course it does require quite a bit of flying in Y but you can book the long haul segment on the A350 (and hope that it won't be swapped) which has IMHO one of the best economy classes.
